Mateus Moitinho de Almeida won the Diliman Open 2008 with an average of 16.18 seconds. Isagani Esteron finished second 17.08 seconds and Chia-Wei Lu finished third 17.27 seconds. The first comeptition of the year is the Diliman Openheld at the most prestigous universities in the country which is UP Diliman. It is a proof of how the sport/ hobby is spreading and has grown unexpectedly big.
